How do you take a group of bagpipers and drummers, of varying talents but one common passion, prevailing mostly from Arizona, and form a cohesive pipe and drum band that will travel to Ireland in 2023 to compete in the All Ireland Pipe Band competition? Well, we don't know yet but that's the impetus behind the Hugh O'Conor Memorial Pipe Band Project.

THE VISION
To build this desert southwest pipe band named in honor of the founder of Tucson, Arizona, and travel to Ireland to compete in the All-Ireland Pipe Band Competition in 2023. Hugh O'Conor was exiled from his home in the 1700's, we want to pipe him back home in 2023!
THE HISTORY
The Hugh O’Conor Memorial Pipe Band, founded in 2006 and incorporated as a 501c3, is positioning itself to compete in the Southwest and in Ireland. There is no better time to back “The Green.”
